The Great Wall

Talking to Rochelle made me realise that in a lot of ways I'd insulated myself from Delhi. I perhaps am not savoring all that this city has to offer. Having said that I am not really sure I want. Everytime I attempt to go out I see the worst of Delhi. On a completely different note are Ruby Tuesday by any chance a punjabi chain ? Their food has sadly become so oil soaked that the neighborhood dhaba would be taking lessons from them. Had lunch there and am still suffering.....

Bliss it was

3 lovely days in Mumbai. Chilled, partied and hogged. What more does a man want ? I WANT MY LONG WEEK IN MUMBAI. I need stupendous doses of Mumbai. Dribs and drabs make it very depressing.

Go HSBC & ICICI

HSBC and ICICI became the first banks to offer a do not call register. While signing up for them immediately was a natural choice I applaud them. They also go right on top of my list if ever I want to avail of any facility. Not only that it's very prominent on their websites so they are acting responsibly. What now Citibank, Stanchart,HDFC and ABN ? Seriously need to get your act together guys

Saturday Night 2 AM Blues

One of the downsides of living alone is that there isnt anyone to tell you. If I wasnt living alone there would be no way that I could home post lunch @ 4pm go to bed and then wake up at midnight. I would have been shaken awake @ 7pm, perhaps dinner and been in bed by midnight. Which brings me to the point that here I am awake at 2am wondering what to do. At 2 AM the only thing good on TV are the infomercials. And another thought - Are Dim Sum Lunches that good for you ? How many Dim Sums can a person eat ? (I can eat a lot but then I have the figure for it :)

I miss Mumbai

I miss my city. In Mumbai its raining, streets are flooded, trains are out, traffic is crawling but damn I miss that. Mumbai is at its best when things get out of whack. The ability to 'can do' is what I love about Mumbai. We're so used to being the cash cow without the good feed. Anyone who'll give me a job in Mumbai. Pretty please with cherries on top ?
